Lynda used to work as the Food and Beverage Manager for the Holiday Inn.
She said "I'm so glad I took the opportunity, I took a gamble to move from the catering industry. If you like people, then it's easy - it's also hard work but you just have got to go for it!"
Since joining the programme, Lynda has undergone rigorous training and said, "I had a weeks training at the Sales Academy which was good because I got to meet everyone - even the Managing Director! I was given on the job training at the branch and was assigned a buddy. I am selling on my own but my buddy still helps and supports me as there are new things everyday. I've learned a lot since June. I've learned about the products and to be more organised and to plan ahead."
"It's so important to keep the customers in the loop, for example I have a couple of cars going out in November and I phone the customers to keep them up-to-date with the progress of their new car - and they really seem to appreciate that."
"This has been an amazing experience, I like everyone I work with and the team spirit is great. I really enjoyed the training at the Academy and meeting different people as well as the customers and the staff. I get a buzz from sales and am now on commission, selling approximately one car a day - it's great!"
