Arnold Clark sponsor Local Woman's Brainwave appeal

Arnold Clark is proud to sponsor Fiona Beddis's cycle challenge for the Northern Brainwave Appeal.
In August 2006, fit and healthy 40 year old dentist Fiona Beddis collapsed unconscious and suffered a brain haemorrhage. Fiona, wife and mother of two sons, was rushed to Newcastle General Hospital where she underwent lifesaving neurosurgery. The outstanding skill of Professor Mendelow and the care provided by his team of doctors and nurses, saved Fiona's life.
To express Fiona's gratitude she is going to cycle 150 miles with a group of friends to raise money for the Northern Brainwave Appeal. Today, Fiona starts her challenge from Renault Bishopbriggs, her birthplace in Glasgow and will finish in Newcastle where she was re born. The money raised from the cycle will go towards essential apparatus for the High Dependency Unit in Newcastle General Hospital.
Fiona said, "I am absolutely delighted that Arnold Clark has sponsored my cycle challenge and such a life saving cause. I feel blessed that everyday I can say "thank you" for the gift of a second chance at life!"
