Arnold Clark is delighted to welcome John Crawford to the position of Business centre manager at its Peugeot, Honda and Toyota complex in Kilmarnock. John brings 30 years experience to the branch and will focus his attentions on the new commercial van centre now been offered at the Western Road complex.
John's career with Arnold Clark started in 1995 when he sold his family business to the motoring giant. He joined the company's Pollokshaws Road branch and quickly progressed to the position of General Manager within two years, taking control of a Vauxhall franchise.
Looking for a change in career direction, John was delighted when offered his new position and is now heading the new commercial van venture at Arnold Clark complex in Kilmarnock. Relishing the challenge he said, "This is a hugely exciting opportunity for me and I am really looking forward to bringing this new business service to Ayrshire. Having been in the motor trade for 30 years, 13 with Arnold Clark, I hope to bring a wealth of experience and knowledge to the area and continue offering the high level of service that is synonymous with the company."
With no previous representation in Ayrshire for commercial vans, John is aiming to create a unique service and has introduced some new ideas to the branch. Along with a contract hire, leasing and hire purchase service, John will also visit customers at their own premises to demonstrate and deliver vehicles, saving businesses time and money; keeping them on the move. He said, "Time is money to the business sector and most don't have enough hours in the day to visit a showroom. Providing this service allows businesses to carry on with their day to day duties without taking too much time out of their busy schedule".
Covering 6.5 acres, the Arnold Clark complex in Kilmarnock which also houses the Toyota and Honda franchise, is the largest of its kind in Ayrshire and offers great value for money new and nearly new cars and vans. With 300 plus used cars for sale at the site, an online stock locator with access to a further 15,000 vehicles, a service and parts department, MOT centre, Car & Van Rental and now the new commercial vans business centre, the branch really does catering for everyone.
