Win a Car a Day in May Terms & Conditions
- All entrants must be over 18.
- All entrants must hold a full and valid British Driving License.
- Employees, family, friends or associates of GMG Radio, The Scottish Sun or Arnold Clark are not eligible to take part in ‘Win a Car a Day In May’.
- One Car must be won every week day in May. 22 Cars across the promotion guaranteed.
- Each car can be won between 8.45am and 5pm every week day in May.
- The car must be parked in location & static at the time the text message is received. If the car is in motion the competition entry will be void.
- Cars will be parked and left in one location daily and will not be moved between 8.45am and 5pm unless the car is found and our terms and conditions aren't met. In this instance Real Radio reserves the right to park the car in a new location
- The winner will be the first text RECEIVED to our studio ‘61001’ number that states the correct daily keyword, registration number and location of the car.
- The daily key word will appear in the Scottish Sun, on realradiofm.com and arnoldclark.com up until 1pm each day. After 1pm we will announce the keyword on Real Radio.
- A picture clue will be posted daily in the Scottish Sun followed by on air clues on Real Radio throughout the day from 8.45am until the car is won.
- To eliminate fraudulent entry, any person entering the competition and called back by Real Radio should be able to verify when questioned the car's location, the registration mark and identify the object we have placed within the vehicle.
- If we receive more than one correct text at the exact same time then those entrants will go in to a draw and the winner will be selected at random.
- All texts for this competition will be charged at 25p plus your standard operator charge.
- In the unlikely event that the Real Radio text service crashes Real Radio reserve the right to change the competition to a phone in on 0845 100 2 101 with the winning call being that which is the first call and get through to the studio with the correct daily keyword, registration and location taken to air. The Programming Director’s decision is final.
- All winners must be available with immediate effect for publicity on Real Radio and to be photographed for use in PR activity in Scottish Sun, online and possible third parties.
- All winners must agree to be available for telephone interview for both Real Radio and The Scottish Sun.
- Should any winner be suspected of claiming the prize fraudulently we reserve the right to withdraw the prize. The Programming Director’s decision is final.
- In the interest of fairness there can only be one winner per household throughout the competition.
- Winners will be contacted by a member of Arnold Clark to register their car and take claim of their prize with within 28days.
- Winners may be required to collect their car from any Arnold Clark branch within Central Scotland.
- Once winners are in receipt of their car they must register ownership the DVLA within 14 days.
Online Competition Terms & Conditions
- Entrants must be 17 or over. This competition is open to all residents of the UK except employees of the Promoter, or any of their subsidiaries, agents or families or anyone else connected with this promotion. The Promoter reserves the right to verify eligibility of entrants.
- Your entry will be entered into the main competition where a winner will be selected at random. Entries are limited to one entry per household.
- Prizes must be accepted as offered and are not transferable. No cash alternative will be offered in whole or in part. The Promoter reserves the right to substitute the prize with one of equivalent or greater value.
- Closing date of promotion 31 May 2008.
- A winner will be drawn at random by an independent person from all valid online entries. The winner will be informed by phone or email by the 30 June 2008. If the winner (or the winner of any subsequent draws) cannot be contacted one week from the date of first attempted notification, the Promoter reserves the right to conduct redraws until a winner is successfully contacted, subject to the same terms and conditions specified herein.
- Entries that are incomplete, defaced or damaged will be deemed invalid. The Promoter accepts no responsibility for entries lost, delayed or damaged in transmission. No third party entries, bulk entries or entries submitted by agents will be accepted. The promoter is not responsible for any third party acts or omissions.
- The Promoter reserves the right to amend, alter or withdraw the promotion as necessary due to exceptional circumstances outside its reasonable control.
- The Promoter will not be held liable to any participant or winner for any fraud committed by any third party in an event beyond its control. The promoter is not liable for any third party acts or omissions.
- The Promoter's decision is final and no correspondence will be entered into.
- Prize winners agree to take part in any reasonable publicity required, and to the processing of their personal information for the administration of this promotion and in connection with any advertising. Please note that in processing the information in this way the Promoter may disclose the information to other companies in its group or to third parties employed by the Promoter. Entrants will only be contacted by third parties or other companies within the group in connection with this promotion.
- By entering this promotion, all participants will be deemed to have accepted and be bound by the terms and conditions. Instructions for participation form part of these terms and conditions.
- The names and counties of the prize winners will be made available from 10 July 2008.
