Product genius progression

Starting salary £24,000

We’ll expect you to gain product knowledge of at least five cars decided by the Manager. You will also progress through the apprenticeship portfolio.

Product knowledge quiz
A brand presentation
50% completion of apprenticeship portfolio

Sign-off criteria

Your Sales Development Mentor will visit monthly to check your progression
Reviews of Your Car Preview videos
Giving a brand presentation at our morning meeting

We’ll expect you to work mostly on core activities (test drives, handovers, videos).

Test drives
Handovers to the Sales team
Your Car Preview video branch scores
Licence Programme modules completed
Apprenticeship portfolio completed

Sign-off criteria

Reviewing your last 3 months of activity
Your Car Preview video scores
Your Sales Development Mentor will sign off your completed modules

We’ll expect you to

Complete programme assessments for the apprenticeship and Licence Programme
Present product training in sales meetings
Optional attendance at our Sales Academy and opportunity for further training

How we measure your progress

End of apprenticeship assessment in England or completion of NVQ qualification in Scotland
Branch mentor and management reports

Sign-off criteria

You’ll attend an assessment day with your Sales Development Mentors
This involves choosing and presenting one of our products

You now have the opportunity to move into sales within a Product Consultant role where the sky is the limit.
