Healthcare conversions are used for various purposes, including transportation of personnel, goods and equipment.

Arnold Clark Coachbuilders have the capabilities to meet all these demands whether it is personal transportation for wheel chair users, from single wheelchair applications to wheelchair adapted minibuses and people carriers. We are also able to provide conversions for event ambulances and patient transfer vehicles.

Transportation of goods or equipment has to be given special consideration to ensure any chance of contamination is avoided and treated accordingly, or in the case of specialist equipment, careful consideration given to loading and securing the valuable cargo.

The Coachbuilders division has extensive experience in the area of vehicle conversions providing clients with solutions to assist with their needs. This can come in the form of specialised treatment to the interior of vans or vehicle body alterations to enable the storage and transportation of various goods and people. Vehicles can be adapted to become temperature controlled for transportation of medical supplies or having a segregated load carrying area created which provides increased security to the cargo and in some cases help prevent cross contamination.
