BMW is preparing to launch the all-new BMW 2 Series Active Tourer on the 27th of September and to celebrate Harry Fairbairn BMW is kicking off the event with a launch weekend on the 27th and 28th of September 2014.
The launch weekend will take place at all of our BMW dealerships:
Inverness
Kirkcaldy
Giffnock
Irvine
During the launch weekend all of our BMW retailers will have complimentary refreshments. We will also provide entertainment for the children should you wish to bring the family along.
The 2 Series Active Tourer is the first ever front-wheel drive to be engineered by BMW. Launched at the Geneva Motor Show in March the BMW Tourer uses the same running gear as the new Mini Hatchback.
The exciting new BMW Tourer still manages to maintain the renowned BMW Driving Experience characteristics. Following on from the Tourer will be the impressive xDrive that will be released later this year.
Thanks to BMW TwinPower technology, the new generation of BMW petrol and diesel engines in the BMW 2 Series Active Tourer facilitate a class leading performance and class leading Efficient Dynamic engines. The three-cylinder petrol unit stands out for its exceptional efficiency and great performance abilities; for example the CO2 emissions on the 216d are a mere 99g/km.
The engine sizes that are available in the Active Tourer are: 218i and the 218d with the 216d, 220d, 220 xDrive, 220i and 225i xDrive following in November.
