The Stepway was first introduced in 2013 as a larger version of the subcompact Dacia Sandero. The Mk1 received a facelift in 2017, adding new materials to the interior, a chrome-effect trim to the exterior and a newly styled steering wheel.

The Mk2 Stepway launched in 2020, bringing new technology, including an eight-inch infotainment screen to certain trims, and a revamped interior and exterior style.

Practicality and style of the car

The Stepway’s top-level practicality is one of the model’s standout features. The Mk2’s length of 4,099mm, width of 1,848mm and height of 1,535mm make the Stepway 11mm longer and 36mm taller than the Dacia Sandero. The Mk2 is also 18mm longer and 87mm wider than the Mk1 adding to its comfortable cabin.

Interior

The Stepway’s interior is well-designed and makes use of high-quality materials. You’ll find fabric inserts across the dashboard and throughout the boot, while hard-wearing plastics are fitted to the centre console and multi-functional steering wheel.
