Training and Development - The sales licence programme

The Arnold Clark Group places great importance on training, developing and building strong relationships. That's why we offer the 'Arnold Clark Sales Licence'.

Sales licence programme format

  • 12 modules with pre-set learning materials.
  • Demonstrate your knowledge on a given subject, and your ability to communicate this to customers.
  • You will be supported by the Branch Manager and a Group Mentor.
  • You will attend a mandatory 5-day 'Sales Academy’.
  • Once you have demonstrated the required skills to a satisfactory level, you will then be issued with the Arnold Clark Sales Licence and receive recognition from the Group Directors.

Having worked for Arnold Clark Insurance Services for over 13 years, I decided to make the move into sales in 2014. At first this seemed very daunting! But after attending Sales Academy, I really started to gain knowledge of the sales process.

My training continued in the branch until I began selling on my own. I’ve now done this for two years and it has built my confidence and given me a lot more opportunities.
