Arnold Clark recognises the importance of investing in its workforce to maintain service quality and provide reputable service throughout the branches. At present the group employs over 8000 staff and recruits and trains over 450 modern apprentices, putting training and development of staff at the forefront of its business.
Arnold Clark endeavours to give back to the communities in which it operates, and through training and developing the careers of the young mechanics through the ‘Get into Cars’ programme with Prince’s Trust, it does just that.
The twelve students on the ‘Get into Cars’ programme can expect to develop skills needed for the workplace, over a six week course. They will then be invited to put these newly acquired skills into action on a placement at an Arnold Clark service department.
