Terms and conditions apply. Subject to availability. Drivers are subject to satisfactory DVLA checks and drivers must have held a full licence valid in the UK for a minimum period of 12 months. Driving is limited to one person aged from 21 to 85. Test drives must be pre-booked in advance and are subject to availability. The vehicle may be driven for a maximum distance of 100 miles over the 24-hour period. Pre and post test drive condition assessments will take place. Costs for excessive use and/or damage must be reimbursed by customers. Customer insurance is provided for 24-hours, but is subject to a £250 excess. Vehicle will be supplied with a full tank of fuel and must be replaced prior to return. You must make sure the correct fuel is put into the vehicle. Any costs incurred by using the wrong fuel will be chargeable to you. You must use the vehicle in a responsible manner. If you do not comply with this, you will be liable to us for any damages or reasonable loss incurred by us or any damages or reasonable expenses we suffer or incur as a result of your breach. You must look after the vehicle and the keys to the vehicle. You must always lock the vehicle when it is not in use, and use any security device fitted to or supplied with the vehicle. If the vehicle is left unlocked or the keys are left in it and it is subsequently stolen, or if you give the keys to another person who is not you, the driver, you will be liable for any damaged sustained to the vehicle, or costs of recovering the vehicle. You must return the vehicle on time. Failure to do so is breaking the terms and conditions and drivers will be charged appropriately. Any fixed penalty notices, including, but not limited to, parking and bus lines fines, will be directed to you and you will be liable to pay them. Arnold Clark takes no responsibility for an increase in fines due to late payment. Driving offences and notices of intended prosecution, including but not limited to speeding notices, will be completed by our legal team naming the main driver for this contract. Data is obtained from the driver of the vehicle for the purposes of contacting the driver in order to arrange the test drive. Once the test drive is complete, and provided that the driver wishes not to purchase a vehicle, this data is securely destroyed. We obtain the driver’s name, preferred contact method and branch for fulfilment of the test drive.
Once the test drive has been arranged, the driver’s preferred branch will, with the driver’s consent, arrange insurance on behalf of the customer. In order to be able to test drive the vehicle, the customer will require to provide the relevant data to the insurance company. This is governed by the insurer’s terms and conditions and privacy statement.
These terms are governed by the laws of Scotland and are subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of the Scottish courts.
