The all-new Peugeot 5008 SUV

Exterior

The raised ride height and sleek design of the all-new Peugeot 5008 SUV makes it almost unrecognisable when compared to its former guises. Its powerful stance, large alloys and bold lines are sure to catch your eye, and the striking front-end design makes it clear that Peugeot has shed the functional look of the previous 5008 in favour of a stylish SUV.

Interior

The all-new Peugeot 5008 SUV boasts a sophisticated, comfortable interior that makes use of contemporary materials and patterns, adding a luxurious feel to the cabin. But it’s not all style and no substance; there’s a wealth of practical features including sockets, window blinds, shelves, hooks, cup holders and lots of clever storage space.*

Infotainment

The new 5008 SUV features the spectacular Peugeot i-Cockpit, which allows drivers to enjoy a fully digital experience complete with 8-inch touchscreen and customisable heads-up display. Controls are also seamlessly integrated into the compact steering wheel, putting all its features at your fingertips.

All versions come with DAB radio, Bluetooth, Apple CarPlay and Android Auto as standard.

 Practicality

Inside, there are seven seats on board, which can be adjusted depending on your needs. There’s still plenty of room for a spacious boot, and the third row of seats can even be fully removed in order to allow for more load space if required – 1060 litres of it to be exact! If you need even more than that, the second row of seats can be folded flat, increasing the overall load space to a whopping 2150 litres.

Although the overall dimensions of the 5008 SUV have stayed roughly the same, the rear doors have been lengthened, making it easier for drivers to adjust seating in the back. Families will be pleased to know that this also makes fitting child car seats much easier, as do the three ISOFIX points in the middle row.

The 5008 SUV is also the perfect partner for a memorable caravan trip, with a towing capacity of 1000–1800kg and kerb weight of 1310 to 1530kg.

On the road

There’s a decent amount of choice when it comes to engines, from the entry-level 1.2-litre turbocharged petrol, perfect for city dwellers, to the 118bhp 1.6-litre Blue HDi engine, which offers balance between power and economy for those covering longer distances on a frequent basis.

The 99bhp 1.6-litre diesel engine is the most efficient, with official economy figures of 65.7mpg.

Launch date

The official launch date isn’t until January 2018, however the new Peugeot 5008 SUV is available to pre-order now.
