Introducing the all-new Hyundai KONA

Hyundai’s crossover has arrived.

The Hyundai KONA arrives in our showrooms this November, bringing style to the small SUV segment. There are five trim levels available, offering outstanding equipment and a nimble driving experience.

Vibrant design

The KONA’s bold exterior is sure to turn heads, and the range of bright colours and personalisation options means that you can transform your car into a unique statement. The cabin feels remarkably spacious, clean and comfortable. Bright colours highlight the dark, high-quality materials, making this car every bit as daring on the inside as it is on the outside.

Two outstanding engines

At launch, the KONA offers a choice of two turbocharged petrol engines.

1.0 T-GDi petrol engine

This 1.0-litre engine provides the perfect mix of efficiency and drive, delivering 120 PS with low CO2 emissions of just 117 g/km. The turbo helps this engine deliver up to 172 Nm of torque, meaning you’ll always have the power when you need it.

1.6 T-GDi petrol engine

This four-cylinder engine is available on the Premium GT model and can take you from 0 to 62mph in just under 8 seconds. This engine comes with four-wheel drive and 7-speed dual-clutch transmission with both Normal and Sport driving modes available.

The latest in automotive technology

Enjoy the latest driving technology with a range of innovations available across the KONA range. As standard, you’ll enjoy Bluetooth connectivity and DAB radio. SE models and above also have Android Auto and Apple Carplay, while the Premium SE trim and above provide the ultimate audio experience with a KRELL sound system. To help keep your dashboard tidy, there’s a wireless phone charging pad located in the centre console. An 8-inch touchscreen puts control at your fingertips allowing you to manage your media and sat nav. Helping you see more, the top trims come with a head-up display showing speed, navigation commands and alerts right in the your line of sight.

Outstanding safety features

The KONA comes with Hyundai SmartSense. This cutting-edge driver assistance system includes a range of great features to help keep you safe and provide peace of mind.

Driver Attention Alert

This system comes as standard on all KONA models and monitors driver behaviour patterns, looking for signs of fatigue. When it detects tiredness, an audio warning pops up to alert the driver and suggest that they take a break.

Autonomous Emergency Braking

AEB uses a camera and radar sensor to detect traffic and pedestrians. If it senses a potential collision, a warning will sound and the car will autonomously slow down or come to a stop if required.

Lane Keep Assist

The lane keep assist system monitors either side of the road and alerts the driver if the car appears to stray off course. Then, if necessary, the system takes autonomous steering action in order to keep the car in lane.

Blind Spot Detection

A radar system on the rear bumper helps detect any traffic in blind spots with an alert sounding if any traffic is detected in this space when you indicate to change lanes.
