The Arnold Clark Motability Roadshow is back for its 13th year! The event takes place from 10am until 5pm on Wednesday 8th May at the SEC, Glasgow.
Visitors will have the opportunity to check out over 120 Motability vehicles from 25 manufacturers. There’ll also be handmade products and useful services from a wide range of local exhibitors – so there’s something for everyone.
As always, Motability experts will be on hand to answer any questions about eligibility, allowances and highlight any support they can provide you with.
Colette and Frankie are back again to make sure you’re well looked after on the day. The ladies will be offering a free file and polish to event visitors, so you can sit back and relax while they work their magic.
The Guide Dogs team is always a wonderful addition to the event, and the animals gather crowds of admirers. They are on hand to give roadshow visitors more information about how they help the blind and partially sighted community and offer invaluable advice if you’re interested in training a guide dog.
The team at Albion Mobility are delighted to be back at the Motability Roadshow for the eighth year. They provide tailored home assessments, where they demonstrate a wide range of products, such as scooters and powered wheelchairs. They also offer support with servicing, maintenance and repairs, giving you extra peace of mind.
Elap will be on site to showcase their wide range of adapted seating solutions, driving controls and wheelchair stowage options. These products have been proven to enable customers to enjoy a better quality of life and increased independence.
Fast Aid offers a huge range of mobility technology products such as scooters, walking aids, bathroom equipment and beds to help make life that little bit easier.
Allied Mobility and Mobility Solutions have joined forces again to attend the show for the fourth year running. Allied Mobility offers a range of wheelchair accessible vehicles while Mobility Solutions provides speciality mobility products from leading brand names, both in the home and beyond.
SAMH works to improve Scotland’s mental health and operates more than 60 services in communities across Scotland as well as campaigning and representing the interests of people with mental health problems. You can find out more about the services they offer at their stand.
Spinal Injuries Scotland offer advice and support to help those coming to terms with a spinal injury. They offer a number of services including a freephone support line, mentoring, legal and welfare advice and a medicine delivery service. If you’ve suffered a spinal injury, their representatives will be happy to tell you more.
The Glasgow Disability Alliance (GDA) is run by and for disabled people and has over 3500 members across Greater Glasgow. Members meet regularly to take part in a wide range of activities, taster days and courses. Becoming a member is a great way to make friends and try something new.
An Uddingston institution, Tunnock’s have been around since the late 1800s, after young apprentice Thomas Tunnock purchased a bakery for £80. Fast-forward over a century, and their biscuits and sweet treats continue to delight. The company even boasts celebrity fans including Chris Martin (Coldplay) and actress Andie MacDowell. We can’t promise an appearance from them, but the Tunnock’s team will be on hand to make sure your sugar levels are well topped up on the day!
