Arnold Clark celebrates England’s World Cup success with early closures

To allow our employees in England the chance to celebrate their team’s success in the World Cup, we are changing our closing times on Wednesday 11th July and Sunday 15th July.

If it’s coming home, we want to make sure our employees are there to see it.

Recognising that this could be a once-in-a-lifetime moment for English football, and a significant event for our English employees, the Arnold Clark Group has decided to alter the opening hours for branches based in England.

The following closing times will allow our English employees the chance to get home in time for kick-off and enjoy the final leg of this incredible journey with friends and family.

Wednesday 11th July (semi-final) – Closing at 6pm
Sunday 15th July (final) – Closing at 3pm (if England reach the final)

These times will apply to all of our Group sites in England including:

Sales and service branches
Rental branches
Activa

Although we can’t make this arrangement for all major sporting events, we’re pleased to be able to give all employees based in England the chance to celebrate their home team’s success.
