The DS3 is already one of the most stylish hatchbacks on the market, but the Café Racer limited edition model takes chic to the next level. This DS3 is inspired by the London café racer motorcycle culture of the 1960s, adding a modern twist to this classic aesthetic, and proving that true style never goes out of fashion.
There are just 150 DS3 Café Racers made for the UK, making it highly sought after, and its timeless design is sure to be noticed wherever you go. There’s a choice of four bold colours – Platinum Grey, Ink Blue, Ruby Red, and Perla Nera Black. Whichever you choose, each is the perfect contrast, juxtaposing a Parthenon Cream roof against a stunning hand-fixed graphic designed by the artisan studio BMD Design, which adds a DS3 spin to the café racer style. These colour contrasts are featured throughout with 17-inch, black, diamond-cut alloys featuring cream wheel centres. Completing the retro look are shark’s-fin side pillars, bonnet and door badges and more dashing graphics on the boot.
The interior décor echoes the exterior design with a handprinted dashboard graphic highlighting the styling. There is sophistication and detail in every element with watchstrap-style seats bedecked in Nappa leather, creating a comfortable yet sporty ambience for both driver and passengers. A perforated leather steering wheel and aluminium pedals complete the look.
To complement the vintage styling, there’s a range of innovative technology in the vehicle, including automatic wipers, heated mirrors, automatic air conditioning, reversing camera and auto-dimming rear-view mirror. The 7-inch touchscreen incorporates a sat nav with DS Connect, offering live traffic updates, as well as mirroring technology to allow you to experience multimedia entertainment – as well as the necessary functionality – directly from your smartphone.
There are two PureTech 110 or 130-bhp petrol engines, with a choice of manual or automatic gearbox, each offering a dynamic and efficient drive.
