Rolls Royce Phantom

Rolls Royce have been behind the world’s most exclusive cars since 1906 and for over a century, the company’s reputation has attracted celebrities such as David Beckham, Kim Kardashian and Jason Derulo; there is no doubt that the owners of this saloon all share a very refined taste. The phantom was initially released in 2010 and has remained Rolls Royce’s flagship model ever since.

The Phantom is hand built at the Rolls Royce facility in England to the highest standards imaginable. Weighing in at 2.5 tonnes, the Phantom is still capable of accelerating from 0 to 60 mph in 4.7 seconds mainly due to the 6.6-litre V12 engine supplied by BMW. The engine works in unison with the tuned handling to guarantee a level of luxury and comfort found nowhere else. Prices start at £300,000 before any consideration of bespoke features such as a choice of 44,000 hues and hand-painted coach lines.

Porsche Panamera

Porsche is another name that instantly conjures ideas of extravagance and the Panamera, introduced in 2009, has found its way into Jason Derulo’s car collection. The Panamera takes the luxury often associated with brands such as Rolls Royce and adds a dose of sporting performance in an all-encompassing package.

Sleek contours highlight the Bi-Xenon main headlights and the emphasised wings give the car a more powerful look in line with its concept. A twin-turbo V6 generates 310hp creating a car that looks like a saloon but drives like Porsche’s small sports cars. This is also reflected by an interior that looks like it comes straight out of a premium racer; high-quality metals coat the cabin and gorgeous leather seats come as standard. A conservative estimate puts Jason Derulo’s Porsche Panamera at a tidy £125,000.

Lamborghini Gallardo 550-2

A Lamborghini is a must for any wealthy lover of cars and we think Jason has made a great choice with the Gallardo 550-2. While the Phantom is all about class and the Panamera about versatility, the Gallardo makes an impact through pure fun alone. The vehicle has been adapted to provide the most joyful, compelling driving experience available, as Lamborghini puts it: The open road awaits…

Perhaps no other sports car brand is as iconic as Lamborghini, the sharp, eye catching nose angles and vibrant colours are famous on a global scale. The Gallardo 550-2 has been updated with larger nose vents and more elegant rear lights, just enough tweaks to keep the image contemporary. Housed in the rear of the car is a monstrous 5.2-litre V10 which can produce 552bhp. In testing the Gallardo managed to achieve 0 to 60 in 3.7 seconds making it one of the fastest cars ever. £175,000 is the asking price for this status symbol.

BMW i8

Jason Derulo’s latest purchase is the award winning BMW i8 released last year. The picture posted on Jason Derulo’s Instagram in July 2015 showed the pop star reclining in his bright lime green i8. Times are changing as celebrities start to adopt hybrid super cars, but taking a look at the i8 it is easy to understand why.

The i8 is revolutionary, it is made with ultra-lightweight materials and BMW’s patented EfficientDynamics technologies, most importantly, fuel consumption and emissions are lower than any other car in its category. Performance is left unaffected, however, with a top speed of 155mph and 0–60 mph in 4.4 seconds, the future really has arrived. As expected, his doesn’t come cheap and Mr. Derulo paid an estimated £150,000 to be part of this growing trend.
