4WD drive mode selector

Switch between three driving modes to adjust the front/rear torque distribution to match the road surface condition and driving style.

Ideal for city driving, the base distribution is front-focused making it easy to control and improving acceleration.

Enjoy the winding the open road? Switch to sport mode for rear-focused base distribution. Steering becomes more agile and responsive and provides greater driving pleasure.

Shift to track mode and the base distribution is equal, maximising traction of all four wheels to enhance on-track performance.

GR Yaris suspension

Newly developed trailing double wishbone rear suspension maximises capabilities and delivers outstanding traction and control alongside the 4WD system. Macpherson strut suspension maximises tyre grip and offers light weight and high rigidity, and lateral force control springs reduce suspension friction.

A high-response coupling balances torque between the front and rear wheels delivering greater cornering response and stability.
