How Arnold Clark is helping communities during lockdown
We’ve been working behind the scenes to help others throughout the COVID-19 crisis.
Throughout the current crisis, Arnold Clark has been working behind the scenes to help keep the NHS and key workers moving, as well as providing support to community groups wherever we could. Here are just some of the stories of the vital work our employees have been doing over the past three months.
Danes Dyke District Nurses
District nurse Susan Windass said: ‘After having to purchase these out of our own pocket recently this donation means so much during such uncertain times. Thank you again from us all at Danes Dyke District Nurses’
Sense Scotland
Sally Hall, Communications Manager at Sense Scotland said: ‘During this crisis, ensuring wellbeing of the disabled people we support - and our staff who care for them – has been our number one priority. We have had to adapt to a fast-moving situation. As the pandemic impacted on all aspects, including public transport, we’ve found it challenging to get our staff to their place of work safely and in a way that didn’t involve long waits or journeys. Although we have some pool cars and drivers we needed more. This is where Arnold Clark came in, giving us use of a vehicle for a month. This gesture is much appreciated, and we’d like to thank Arnold Clark for supporting us to support vulnerable disabled people.’
