Click & Collect is the quickest way to buy. Before you arrive, we’ll send you a personalised, detailed video of your car’s functions. We can take contactless payment in-branch and your car will be waiting for you – sanitised and ready to drive home.

Free home delivery

If you live within a 50-mile radius of a branch, we can also bring your car to you. Drivers wearing the appropriate PPE will thoroughly clean all touchpoints and deliver it using our new socially distanced handover process.

Is Arnold Clark showrooms in England open?

Arnold Clark showrooms are open in England. In the branch, you’ll receive the same levels of customer service you’ve always enjoyed, with new social distancing and sanitisation measures in place. Find contact details for your local branch.

Is Arnold Clark showrooms in Scotland open?

Our showrooms in Scotland remain closed, you can now choose your new car on our website and reserve it for a fully refundable £99 – and you can even get an instant online valuation for your part exchange.

When your car is ready, we’ll send you a personalised video showing all of the functions and features of the car, so you can see everything in detail before you drive it.

We’re closely following government advice in Scotland and will reopen all branches with new safe, contactless processes in place as soon as we are able to do so.

Can you deliver my car?

Yes, we now offer a free home delivery service if you live within a 50-mile radius of a branch. We’ll do all your paperwork over the phone and then deliver the car to your door at a time that suits you, using our new socially distanced processes. We’ll even take your part exchange car away for you.

My car was ordered before lockdown. When can I expect to collect it?

We are delivering cars from all open branches and yours will be delivered as a priority. If it is ordered from a branch which isn’t open yet, we will get it to you as soon as it is safe to do so.

Can I collect my car from my local branch?

If you live in England, you can now collect your chosen car safely in the branch. We can take payment over the phone or if you prefer, we can take contactless payment in branch and your car will be waiting for you – disinfected and safe for you to drive home.

What new processes do Arnold Clark have in place?

We’ve been working closely with Trading Standards to ensure we can deliver the level of service you expect while offering the highest standards of safety. Our employees have all received up to date health and safety training, and we’ve adapted our branch layouts and processes to comply with government regulations.

Aftersales

Is Arnold Clark open for servicing?

The majority of our aftersales departments are now open. Book an appointment online, or call our Contact Centre on 0141 471 5738.

How long will I have to wait for an appointment?

You may to have to wait longer than usual for a service appointment due to the current high demand and this will vary from branch to branch. We will book your car in as soon as possible to keep you on the road.

Can I get book my car in for an MOT?

Yes, as our branches are now open, please call 0141 471 5738 to make an appointment.

If your MOT due date was for Monday 30th March 2020 or after, please note that the MOT due dates for cars, motorcycles and light vans has been extended by the government for six months. However, as we are now able to carry out MOTs, we would highly recommend all drivers get their car checked to ensure they are in a safe and in a roadworthy condition.

My car has been stored in an Arnold Clark branch during lockdown. When will I get this back?

Your vehicle is a priority and we will work on it as soon as the branch is safe to work in and our employees have returned. Thank for your patience.

I have an Arnold Clark servicing and MOT plan which I was unable to use. What can I do?

If our closure affected your servicing and MOT plan, we will extend the plan to allow you to use it when you are able to make an appointment.

My vehicle is covered by manufacturer warranty and I have an issue but I was unable to make a booking during lockdown. What should I do?

We are working with each of our manufacturer partners to ensure that they adopt a flexible and sympathetic approach. As we are now open again, we would ask that you make a new booking as soon as you can.

What if my vehicle is covered by the Arnold Clark 60-day used car warranty and I have an issue?

You can make an appointment by calling 0141 471 5738 or emailing central.services@arnoldclark.com. Please note that any used vehicle that has been delivered by the Group between 14th February 2020 and the lockdown of 24th March 2020 will automatically have the normal 60-day used car warranty period extended by an additional 60 days. Please note that this applies to used vehicles delivered that were either out of manufacturer warranty or had less than 60 days’ manufacturer warranty remaining at the date of delivery.

Finance

I have a PCP agreement that is scheduled to end soon – what do I do?

We would advise that you contact the finance company that your PCP agreement is with. Their contact details will be found within your finance agreement documentation and also on the finance company’s website.

I may experience problems making my monthly finance payments. What can I do?

As our insurance customer services team has a smaller number of employees than usual, the new temporary ACIS contact hours are:
