Hillington Renault/Dacia has opened offering customers a new brand concept and plenty of choice with the largest Renault showroom in the UK.
The new site covers 15,823 sq ft and has space for more than 400 cars, offering you plenty to choose from. The branch is the largest Renault showroom in the UK and has EV (Electric vehicle) charging points, private consultation areas and the latest interactive technology. Hillington is part of the new generation of Renault showrooms known as the Renault Store.
Customers will benefit from the superb on-site facilities including a café, to be opened early 2016, serving hot meals throughout the day with breakfast and lunch menus. Visitors to the café will also be able to enjoy a freshly ground latte or cappuccino from the brand new coffee bar along with an assortment of pastries and other delicious treats on offer.
Richard Kennedy, who has a wealth of knowledge within the automotive industry and has been with Arnold Clark for a number of years, will manage the new showroom, which has replaced the Pollokshaws Road and Paisley Renault branches.
Existing customers will recognise the friendly faces from our Paisley and Pollokshaws Road branches.

We’re looking forward to continuing to offer the same great value and excellent service that customers from both our Pollokshaws Road and Paisley branches have come to expect.’
There is Parts and Service department with an 11 bay workshop meaning more cars can be worked on at one time, reducing waiting times. The workshop also has one class 7 MOT bay designed for goods vehicles over 3,000kg.
The Hillington Renault showroom forms part of Arnold Clark’s brand new, purpose-built, 90,000 sq ft headquarters.
The Renault Store concept is a ‘new generation of dealerships’ said to transform the Renault experience for customers in the UK. There are four elements to the concept. Welcoming the customer, introducing the brand, displaying the range and exploring the products. Improvements comprise better layout and zoning, more interactive product displays and an increase in engaging brand information.
The showroom is divided up into zones including a Sport Zone displaying the Renaultsport range and the Z.E. Zone highlighting the Renault electric vehicles on offer. There is video footage presenting the character and heritage of the Renault brand too. The Renault Store concept uses technology to illustrate customisation options, tablets are provided so customers can sit down and browse the range and options at their leisure.
The Renault branch will be alongside the new Arnold Clark headquarters at Hillington. The new Hillington head office will accommodate over 500 staff members with state-of-the-art facilities.
