Arnold Clark, voted AM's Retailer of the Year 2009, is Europe's largest independently owned, family run, motor dealer. Founded over 54 years ago by Sir Arnold Clark, the business has expanded from a single car showroom in Glasgow to a UK wide organisation employing and training over 8,000 members of staff with a turnover in excess of £2 billion.

The Group's core business is new and used car sales, with over 13,000 cars in stock, representing over 20 new car manufacturers. The Arnold Clark network has 145 dealerships throughout the UK.The Group has also developed its own car supermarket brand called ‘Arnold's Motorstores' that offers nearly new and used cars.

Each dealership is built to a high level of specification ensuring an industry leading sales experience and complete aftercare service is received. This aftercare service includes Arnold Clark Insurance Service, ACCIST, the free accident management service, and a variety of new and used car Aftercare Plans.

The Arnold Clark Service and Repairs department also offers advice on service, MOTs and repairs on all car and van makes and models. Each dealership has highly trained and skilled technicians who use manufacturer approved genuine parts, accessories and panels and offers complimentary courtesy cars where available to keep customers on the road.

The Group has diversified over the years to include all motor related services that fit with car sales and servicing including parts, accessories, garage equipment, Car & Van Rental and bodyshop & repairs. Not to forget subsidiary companies such as Arnold Clark Vehicle Management and its very own training school called GTG Training.
