This small hatchback is in line with the likes of the Peugeot e-208 and Corsa Electric in size and boasts a large 60kWh battery and integrated heat pump as standard.
The range of the BYD Dolphin is approximately 265 miles* and it can be charged from 30 – 80% in just 29 minutes using the 100 kW DC charger.
The Dolphin interior is similar to the ATTO 3, with a 12.6-inch touchscreen sitting on a flowing, futuristic dashboard. The touchscreen can be used for both entertainment (like Spotify) and functional activities like navigation.
Key functional buttons and sliders are integrated into the centre console for ease, including the automatic gear shifter.
The BYD Dolphin also features the iconic panoramic glass sunroof which pans the entire cabin – this allows light to flood the cabin and gives a great view while still being protected from the wind and elements.

The Dolphin starts at £25,490 for the Active trim. The first trims to go on sale are the Comfort and Design, which start from £28,995 at Arnold Clark.
You can choose from the Active, Boost, Comfort or Design trim levels and enjoy incredible standard features all round, such as an integrated heat pump and ergonomically designed sports seats.
