JAECOO is a subsidiary of Chery Automobile, the same company who owns OMODA. It is a premium SUV brand, designed specifically for the European market. As a result, some JAECOO models are re-badged Chery models from other markets.
The first JAECOO model will be the J7, a medium-sized SUV similar in size to the Audi Q3 or Hyundai Tucson.
The price of the J7 has not been confirmed yet.
The brand is due to launch in the UK from the summer of 2024. It will be launched alongside its sister brand, OMODA, and will share showrooms.
