What does it cover?

Interest-free payment plans can be used to help with the cost of car servicing, MOTs, accident repairs, parts and accessories.

Who can apply for Arnold Clark payment plans?

Anyone between the age of 18–75. You must be a UK resident, be in employment (or retired), and have a bank account with a debit/credit card).

Who provides the finance?

Arnold Clark works in partnership with Klarna Bank AB (publ) who provide interest-free products.

How long does it take to apply?

The process is quick and easy, and should only take five minutes to complete.

What are the minimum and maximum spend levels?

3 months’ interest-free payment plan: Available on all purchases between £50–£750

6 months’ interest-free payment plan: Available on all purchases between £250 and £5000

12 months’ interest-free payment plan: Available on all purchases between £500 and £5000

Will a credit check be undertaken?

Yes, as part of the application process we require a credit check via pre-approved credit reference agencies.

What happens if I get declined?

Klarna Bank AB (publ) will email you to advise that your application has been declined and give you the names of the credit reference agencies used. You can contact them and receive a detailed overview of your credit history.

Can I apply for finance to pay for a Service or Clark Plan?

No, the finance facility is not available for plan purchases at this time.

Do I have to pay a deposit?

Yes, a deposit payment is required – the minimum deposit is 10% but you can choose to pay anything between 10% and 50% of the full bill on the day.

What if my bill is greater than £5000?

To authorise a finance application for a bill greater than £5000, please speak to the service manager at the branch to find out more.

What if I want to keep the goods but don’t want the credit agreement anymore?

All customers have a right to withdraw from the credit agreement. You will need to inform Klarna Bank AB (publ) of your intention to withdraw within 15 days from the day you receive the welcome pack. Contact Klarna Bank AB (publ) directly on 0844 880 6542. Klarna Bank AB (publ) will require you to repay the outstanding balance of the loan, plus any applicable interest.

After the 15-day withdrawal period has expired, you can settle your finance agreement any time. On request, Klarna Bank AB (publ) will provide you with a settlement figure and details of how to pay the outstanding balance. You can contact them directly on 0844 880 6542.

How much interest will I pay?

Nothing! Our payment-plans are completely interest free.

When would I apply for a payment plan?

Once the cost of your repairs has been quoted, you can make your application in branch with one of our service advisors.
