Carlo Abarth originally founded Abarth & C in 1949 alongside Guido Scagliarini with the aim of creating a car that offered high performance and power. The pair enjoyed huge success throughout the 1950s and 1960s, famously breaking records on the racetrack and mass-producing cars that were renowned for their agility and performance. However, the brand then phased out in 1984.
In 2007, Abarth relaunched as an independent brand with the same focus on high performance and craftsmanship. Having since successfully expanded into international markets, it is now owned by Stellantis through its Italian subsidiary, the Fiat Group.
Abarth creates cars that are synonymous with great driving pleasure and sporty appeal. They offer unique high-performance vehicles that are built from Fiat chassis.
