Arnold Clark was proud to support the Fochabers Pigbarians Rugby event and family fun day this year, which was held on the 24th May.

The event is held annually and is now in its 7th year. The aim is to raise valuable funds for many worthwhile charities and in addition, to promote the Rugby Union across all ages. This year, event organiser Kathleen Robb from Milne’s Primary School, confirmed that £4000 has been raised from the event and the money will be shared between sick children’s wards in Edinburgh, Aberdeen and Dr Gray’s in Elgin.

Throughout the day there were many rugby matches including several primary school matches, a secondary school match, a golden oldies match, the Kings of the North 7s grand final and the main event, Pigbarians RFC v North Select RFC.

The Pigbarians are a group of guys from all over Scotland who come to the local area and play in a charity rugby festival.

The event is for the whole family, with lots of stalls and entertainment to keep everyone entertained.

Arnold Clark Elgin supported this cause by donating transport for 9 people to travel to the area. We also donated a Tom Tom for the raffle to ensure that maximum money could be raised on the day.
