Autocare is a mechanical warranty that gives you peace of mind protection for your car.
You can purchase Autocare over one or two years.
There is also a Value Range Autocare plan for older cars that can be taken out over four or 10 months.
The Autocare warranty ensures you are covered for a number of items.
Please note that for certain items listed above, only some components are covered.
If you take out an Autocare warranty, you’ll also be able to benefit from 24-hour assistance in the unexpected event of a breakdown.

We will provide you with a courtesy vehicle for the first 24 hours of any breakdown from your nearest Arnold Clark Car & Van Rental branch.
If any of the policy is unused when you go to sell your car, you can transfer the policy on to the new driver provided that you have all the policy documents, your car has been regularly serviced and you are selling the car privately.

With Autocare, you can make as many unrelated claims as you need to. However, there is a claim limit of £4000 for each non-related claim.*
To make sure your warranty remains valid, you must make sure that your car is regularly serviced in accordance with the manufacturer’s recommended service intervals and Autocare Approved Servicing & Repair Agent.
*The total claim amount, including parts, labour, home and roadside assistance and VAT must not exceed the following claim limits of: £4000 for Autocare 1- and 2-year mechanical warranty, and £3000 for the Value Range Autocare 4- and 10-month mechanical warranty.
