The promoter is: Kiltwalk Trading Limited (company number: SC515326) whose registered office is at 53 Bothwell Street, Mercantile Chambers, Glasgow, G2 6TS.
The competition is open to residents of the United Kingdom aged 17 years or over except employees of The Kiltwalk and anyone otherwise connected with the judging of the competition. The competition is open to Arnold Clark employees.
To enter this competition, participants must be signed up to one of the following Kiltwalk events in 2026: Glasgow Kiltwalk, Aberdeen Kiltwalk, Dundee Kiltwalk or Edinburgh Kiltwalk.
You sign up for the competition by registering to participate in one of the Kiltwalk events listed in clause 7 of these terms and conditions. By entering this competition, an entrant/nominated person is bound by these terms and conditions and any supplementary terms and conditions as is necessary to receive the donation. Only one entry will be accepted per person. Multiple entries from the same person will be disqualified. If you are taking part in the Kiltwalk as a team, each individual team member can submit one entry. You must enter at least one week before your Kiltwalk event to be eligible, and the winners will be announced within two weeks of completing their respective Kiltwalk events.
Only one donation can be won per person. Once a winner is selected, they will be removed from any further draws.
Arnold Clark Automobiles Limited shall donate £10,000 directly to each competition winner’s JustGiving page.
• One winner will be drawn from competition entrants taking part in the Glasgow Kiltwalk on 25th April.
• One winner will be drawn from competition entrants taking part in the Glasgow Kiltwalk on 26th April.
• One winner will be drawn from competition entrants taking part in the Aberdeen Kiltwalk on 7th June.
• One winner will be drawnfrom competition entrants taking part in the Dundee Kiltwalk on 16th August.
• Two winners will be drawn from competition entrants taking part in the Edinburgh Kiltwalk on 13th September.
To receive the donation, winners must have active JustGiving fundraising accounts which confirm that the winner is taking part in the applicable Kiltwalk event. Your name must be visible on your JustGiving page.
No other page, platform or account type shall be eligible to receive a donation, including, but not limited to, crowd funding pages. Your JustGiving page must be actively being used to raise funds for your chosen charity. Dormant accounts (i.e. those created but neither in use nor belonging to a participant in one of the 2026 Kiltwalk events) shall not be eligible to win the donation. To be eligible, funds raised on your JustGiving account must be greater than £0.00.
The promoter bears no responsibility for entries not received for whatever reason.
The promoter furthermore reserves the right to cancel or amend the competition and these terms and conditions without notice in the event of any local or national restrictions put in place, pandemic, catastrophe, war, civil or military disturbance, act of God or any actual or anticipated breach of any applicable law or regulation or any other event outside of the promoter's control. Any changes to the competition will be notified to entrants as soon as reasonably practicable by the promoter.
The promoter is not responsible for inaccurate details supplied to any entrant by any third party connected with this competition.
Winners will be chosen at random by Kiltwalk.
The Kiltwalk team will notify the winner within two weeks of the draw, via telephone, email or in person.
The donation is as stated, and no cash or other alternatives will be offered. The donation is non-transferable, non-exchangeable and is subject to availability. We reserve the right to substitute the donation with another prize of equivalent value without giving notice.
The promoter's decision in respect of all matters to do with the competition will be final and no correspondence will be engaged with.
The competition and these terms and conditions will be governed by Scots Law, and any disputes under or in relation to these terms and conditions will be subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of the Scottish Courts.
The promoter must either publish or make available information that indicates that a valid award took place. To comply with this obligation, the promoter will publish the surname and city of major prize (donation) winners and, if applicable, their winning entries on the promoter's site and/or social media channels after all winners are notified. The winners will be asked if their names and images can be used in any publicity materials, however, the winners have the right to object. If the winners give consent, their image can be used by the promoter for three years before it is deleted. If the winners object to any or all their surnames, city and winning entry being published or made available, the winners must contact the promoter at contactus@thekiltwalk.co.uk. In such circumstances, the promoter must still provide the information and winning entry to the Advertising Standards Authority on request. The entrant is providing his/her information to the promoter and not to any other party. The winner/nominated person's details will be provided to Arnold Clark Automobiles Limited for the purpose of making the donation to the winner’s JustGiving page. The information provided will be used in accordance with the following Privacy Policy found at https://www.arnoldclark.com/cookies/.
Nothing in this Agreement shall exclude or restrict either party's liability for death or personal injury from the negligence of that party or of its employees.
