The 128bhp engine achieves 0-62mph in 9.4 seconds, while the 147bhp engine achieves 0-62mph in 8.2 seconds. The latter 147bhp is available with a seven-speed direct shift gearbox (DSG) that switches to coasting mode on the motorway.

The third engine available is the 2.0-litre TDI diesel engine, producing 147bhp and managing 0-62mph in 9.8 seconds. The diesel variant is also available with a DSG gearbox.
