Where does the Škoda Karoq SE-L sit in the range?

The SE-L trim sits in the middle of the Škoda Karoq’s range. In variants before the 2022 facelift, the Karoq sat above the entry-level SE trim and below the Edition trim.

In the post-facelift range, the SE-L sits above the SE Drive trim and below the SportLine trim. The SE-L trim is also slightly longer than the entry-level SE Drive trim and has a total length of 1,608mm – 5mm longer than the SE Drive.

What features and equipment does Karoq SE-L have?

The SE-L trim adds a number of exterior styling details that help it stand out on the road, including 18-inch silver and black Miran alloy wheels. LED daytime running lights and chrome roof rails add to the practicality of the model. You’ll also find an extended, body-coloured rear spoiler that adds to the length of trim, reduces rear air turbulence and improves the Karoq’s aerodynamics. There are also headlight washers and heated windscreen washer nozzles that make it easier to defrost and clean your windshield.

Unlike the entry-level SE Drive trim, the SE-L comes with a winter driving pack included as standard. This adds heating functionality to both your three-spoke multi-functional steering wheel and front seats, making winter driving that little bit more comfortable. This package also adds exterior features which aren’t included as standard on other trim-levels within the lineup.

Inside the cabin, you will also find a VarioFlex seating system. This layout adds a larger centre seat and folding headrest for extra comfort. It also allows you to slide the rear seats forwards to create more storage space and can even be taken out altogether. This greatly expands the size of the boot and is a handy feature if you’re carrying larger items on your drives.

For added comfort, all seats come with microsuede upholstery and part-leather black upholstery. Another upgrade on the SE Drive trim is the SE-L’s inclusion of Škoda’s parking package, which adds front and rear parking sensors and a rear-view camera. This trim also comes with keyless entry and a start/stop system. The SE-L is available with all three of the model’s engines, including a 2.0-litre, 150bhp diesel. The petrol units include the 114bhp, 1.0-litre petrol unit and the 147bhp, 1.5-litre unit.
