We wanted to make sure you knew everything about our Best Deal Guarantee. So, on top of the usual terms and conditions, we’ve made a checklist that will make things easier for you.
If you think you’ve found a better deal elsewhere, here’s a list of questions you need to be able to answer yes to before you make a claim.
Please note that you must make your claim before handover, up to 7 days from the date you ordered your car from us.
‘Deal’ means the cost price of the vehicle you’re buying when it’s on the road. The deal should be ‘like for like’, which means it needs to be exactly the same terms.
The deal must be cheaper overall, including, where applicable:
Lots of things affect the value of a car, even the colour! To qualify for your Best Deal Guarantee claim, the car must also be ‘like for like.’ The car should be the same:
Your finance agreement should be the same type (e.g. hire purchase) and last for the same amount of time.
The better deal must have a similar mileage to the car you’re buying from us, within 1000 miles either way.
Your part exchange deal must be for the same vehicle we have valued.
The franchise dealer with the better deal must be within 100 miles of the Arnold Clark branch where you found your car.
Our Best Deal Guarantee is only valid for Arnold Clark retail customers. Here’s what’s not included in the offer:
If you’ve answered ‘yes’ to these questions, you qualify to make a claim, and if you’re successful, we’ll pay you double the difference within 14 days.
If your vehicle is a cash sale, the price will be matched or we’ll refund the difference.
However, if our team believes that the other dealer may be mistaken in offering a better deal, we’ll refund the price of the vehicle you bought and you can keep any part exchange. If you can then give us a receipt that matches the quote you presented to us, we’ll give you back double the difference.
