The hybrid 254 bhp four-cylinder petrol engine, with a 14bhp and 48V starter generator, is a good option that doesn’t compromise style or power, with a high performance of 0-62 mph in 6.3 seconds. With added efficiency and power, the plug-in hybrid versions provide 0-62 mph in 5.7 seconds.

The mild-hybrid GLC 300 e Coupé has a 254bhp four-cylinder petrol engine that offers 122.8mpg. It has a 14bhp 48V starter generator that seamlessly cuts out for efficient coasting. While performance is strong with a 6.3 second 0-62mph time, the 300 de is just as quick with lots more torque and returns greater fuel efficiency of 148.7mpg.
