Maximum efficiency

Let the HR-V do all the hard work – Honda’s e:HEV hybrid powertrain automatically selects the most efficient driving mode depending on the situation.

Its battery self-charges while driving, and the electric start allows for a silent start to any journey, while keeping emissions low.

Superior interior

The HR-V’s interior doesn’t disappoint. With automatic air con and heated front seats as standard, comfort is king.

The new and improved shape provides generous boot space and legroom for rear passengers. Honda’s Magic Seats also allow for multiple configurations and ample storage in the back with its folding cinema-style rear seats.

Top technology

A convenient Digital Key stored in the MyHonda+ app can be used to open and drive the HR-V, and can be shared with other drivers.

The hands-free power tailgate makes loading the HR-V easy. Thanks to sensors under the rear bumper, the spacious boot will open and close with a simple swipe of the foot or touch of a button.

Frequently Asked Questions

What are Honda HR-V Magic Seats?

Honda Magic Seats enable you to configure the rear seats either in a flat position or folded up – just like cinema seats. This allows for plenty of storage space in the rear footwell and is perfect for large furry passengers, bikes or awkward furniture. Sit back and let the magic happen!

How is the Honda HR-V with car seats?

The HR-V comes with Isofix points in the rear seats, which means it’s quick and easy to snap a car seat or booster seat into place. There’s plenty of room in the back for children (and adults!) of all ages.

How is Honda HR-V in snow?

The HR-V uses front-wheel drive. This means most of its weight is above the two front driving wheels, allowing for better traction when driving in icy or snowy conditions than rear-wheel drive. It also means you’re less likely to have issues with oversteering when turning corners on slippery surfaces.

Can hybrid cars use E10 petrol?

Yes! All petrol or hybrid cars manufactured since 2011, including the Honda HR-V hybrid, are compatible with E10 petrol. Diesel cars are not compatible.

How do hybrid cars charge?

Self-charging hybrid cars like the Honda HR-V don’t need to be plugged in at all! The small battery is charged by a generator driven by the internal combustion engine. Regenerative braking also captures energy and charges the battery as you slow down.

Plug-in hybrids and electric cars need to be plugged in to a public or private charger in order to recharge the battery.
