The Mokka X is one of the most compact SUVs in its classification. It is 76mm shorter, 54mm smaller and 8mm narrower than the Renault Captur. Relative to its compact size, the Mokka X offers good leg, knee and headroom for five adults. There are also lots of cubbies for keeping the cabin tidy, including a well-sized glovebox, door bins and a cubby at the bottom of the centre console.

Diesel options include a 1.6-litre CDTi EcoFLEX engine which can be configured to produce either 110bhp or 134bhp. The former accelerates to 62mph in just over 11.3 seconds while returning 68.9 to 72.4mpg. The 134bhp engine does 0-62mph in around 9.9 seconds while achieving 57.7 to 68.9mpg.

Most engines in the Mokka X can be paired with either front or four-wheel drive. Transmission options include five and six-speed manual gearboxes and a six-speed automatic option.

Interior
