Vauxhall is one of the longest standing car manufacturers in the UK, first setting up operations in 1857. Although previously owned by General Motors, Vauxhall is today owned by Stellantis. Through this structure, much of the design and engines used in Vauxhall models come from Opel. So, while Vauxhall continues to sell models like the Astra, Corsa and Crossland under its own name in the UK, in European markets, these models are sold under the Opel name.

Vauxhall provides drivers with a range of stylish, safe and practical vehicles. Recent models boast a signature front Vizor grille. This grille flows around the model’s headlights to give it an athletic appearance. In terms of technology, Vauxhall Connect is the brand’s signature sat nav system. This comes with real-life traffic updates and alerts, as well as road safety alerts. The Vauxhall Corsa is one of the brand’s most recognisable models. First released in 1982, it was the most popular car in the world by 1998, recording over 910,000 sales in one year. Evolving over more than six generations, the Corsa remains one of the most popular models in the UK and was the best-selling car of the year in 2021. The all-electric Vauxhall Corsa was also one of the best-selling electric models in the same year.

The Vauxhall Mokka is a crossover SUV first revealed in 2012. Thanks to its practical design and bold styling, the second generation of the Mokka won the Design of the Year award in 2021.

The Vauxhall Mokka X was released in 2016 as an updated version of the Mokka crossover SUV. On sale since 1980, the sporty and stylish Vauxhall Astra is a compact family car renowned for its all-round capabilities. It was voted Used Car of the Year in 2021 by Carbuyer and, in 2007, sold more than 111,000 units. Then as now, it is one of the most popular compact models on the market.

In 2017, the Vauxhall Crossland began production, replacing the Vauxhall Antara and Zafira models. It is available with a selection of petrol, diesel and Liquified Petroleum Gas (LPG) engines (also known as dual or Bi-Fuel engines). All offer drivers excellent value and running costs. For this reason, it’s a great choice for family journeys and long distances. The Crossland X SUV is a refreshed version of the existing Vauxhall Crossland. Staying true to its roots, it is a practical and efficient model with plenty of boot and storage space on offer.

Another of Vauxhall’s crossover SUVs is the Grandland X. It is the largest SUV in the Vauxhall range and sold more than 70,000 units in the first year of its release. It was also voted the best car in its segment in the 2018 Off Road awards. The Vauxhall Grandland is the new version of the Grandland X and was renamed in 2021. It boasts a wide range of petrol, diesel and hybrid engines as well as a maximum boot space of up to 1,652 litres giving it great running costs and practicality.
