Organisations must be able to supply the following documentation:
UK Registered charities
- A bank statement dated within the last three months with the following information shown:
- Your organisation’s legal name.
- The address where the statements are sent.
- Your bank provider.
- The account number and sort code.
- The date the statement was issued.
Local community groups/ social enterprises and groups of organisations that are community or voluntary led
- A bank statement dated within the last three months with the following information shown:
- Your organisation’s legal name.
- The address where the statements are sent.
- Your bank provider.
- The account number and sort code.
- The date the statement was issued.
- A letter of constitution or a letter of endorsement from a local councillor/MSP/MLA/MS/MP.
HINT: In the constitution, we are looking for the organisation’s
name, how they
operate, their financials and how they benefit the community.
- For a letter of endorsement, we would need the following to be noted:
- How long the organisation has been in operation.
- How long the endorser has known the organisation.
- How the endorser knows the group.
- A statement explaining why the endorser thinks Arnold Clark should fund the organisation.
Community interest companies and charitable incorporated organisations
- A bank statement dated within the last three months with the following information shown:
- Your organisation’s legal name.
- The address where the statements are sent.
- Your bank provider.
- The account number and sort code.
- The date the statement was issued.
- A copy of your letters of association/memorandum.
