The 148bhp manual version can reach 0-62mph in 9.2 seconds. The manual front-wheel drive option achieves 56.5-57.6mpg whereas the automatic achieves 50.4-51.4mpg. The 182bhp manual version hits 0-62mph in just 8.8 seconds. The manual front-wheel drive option achieves 44.8-50.4mpg whereas the automatic achieves 42.8-46.3mpg.

Features you can expect in a Mazda CX-5

Interior


With ergonomic design features and high-quality materials throughout, the CX-5’s cabin is one of the most comfortable at its price point. As a family SUV, five passengers will enjoy plenty of headspace and legroom in the front and rear seats. There are plenty of storage cubbies throughout and ISOFIX child seat points located on the rear seats.

Some trims come with dual-zone climate control allowing you to adjust the cabin’s temperature and ventilation in the front and rear.


Technology


The interior comes with a host of features and design choices that make the Mazda CX-5 an easy and comfortable car to drive. Onboard entertainment and navigation displays are designed to be within reach of the driver. Located on the centre console, on iterations after 2019, a 10.25-inch infotainment display features, while on iterations before 2019, have a 7-inch display. This display is controlled by a rotary controller next to the handbrake, so the driver can navigate the system easily.

With most trims available with Apple CarPlay and Android Auto, the infotainment screen can also be available with an optional head-up display. You can find models available with adaptive cruise control, traffic sign recognition and navigation systems, to help make every drive easier and more relaxing.

When driving, a used Mazda CX-5 offers a smooth and agile driving experience. The car’s suspension and strong grip on the road absorb any bumps and it competes well with larger SUVs such as the Volkswagen Tiguan. Some trims come with increased noise dampening, allowing for engine and road noise to be kept at a minimum in the cabin.
