Ford’s robust SUV gets a makeover for 2019. The all-new Ford Edge is spacious, comfortable and laden with tech.

Performance and technology

A 2.0-litre EcoBlue bi-turbo diesel engine paired with Ford Intelligent All-Wheel Drive (AWD) delivers a smooth and powerful drive in all conditions. The new rotary gear shift dial allows for improved acceleration and seamless gear changes.

The Edge features new Ford technology including new evasive steering assist that mitigates crashes by helping the car steer around obstacles. Post collision braking and adaptive cruise control with Stop and Go and lane centering make the SUV a much safer and more comfortable drive for any journey, rivalling competing models like the Volkswagen Touareg.

Entertainment

Ford’s SYNC 3 infotainment system allows you to control your phone, music and navigation system through the 8-inch touch screen or voice commands. The system is compatible with Apple CarPlay and Android Auto and also features wireless charging, making it easier than ever to keep the whole family entertained on any journey.

The B&O sound system, with 12 speakers and subwoofer, will appeal to any music lover. As standard on ST-Line and Vignale models, it’s been designed and developed to deliver a rich, powerful sound.

Striking features

An optional full-length panoramic roof allows natural light to flood into the interior. With the option to tilt or slide as well as a retractable sunshade, it’s perfect for road trips in the sun.

Flexible boot space and the hands-free tailgate makes loading and unloading effortless. To open or close, simply wave your foot under the bumper.

Ambient colour tone lighting inside the vehicle adds a sophisticated and subtle touch.

The Edge has a choice of three trim variants – Titanium, the sporty ST-Line and the luxurious Vignale.

ST-Line

Alongside sports-tuned suspension and adaptive steering, the ST-Line provides a more dynamic exterior and interior design. This includes 20-inch alloy wheels and a front upper grille with a unique black finish. Inside the car there are aluminum sports pedals and perforated partial leather seats.

Vignale

Vignale metallic paint, adaptive LED headlights and tinted windows bring an increased sense of style to what is already an eye-catching SUV. Vast space inside the cabin and a lavish leather interior add a sense of luxury and compliment the comfort of the drive.
