What our customers say

For used Vauxhall Corsa cars, choose Arnold Clark

Arnold Clark offers the best used Vauxhall Corsa deals, guaranteed.

Vauxhall’s most popular car is available in automatic or manual with 3 or 5 doors and as with many models today, is also available as a fully electric vehicle for those that are ready to make the shift away from internal combustion engine cars. This option, along with the introduction of the low CO2-producing ecoFLEX engine, enables drivers to save on fuel efficiency as well as reduce their carbon footprint. There is an ever-increasing list of reasons why this car, with its almost thirty years of history, has been one of the most popular cars of its class in the UK and remains a staple of British roads.

The Vauxhall Corsa’s popularity is partly due to the practical nature and affordability of this supermini – both big factors for new and old drivers alike. Since launch, the Corsa has proven to hold its own in the competitive supermini market as one of the leading choices in the small car class, even being the most popular supermini in the UK between 2002 and 2005, as well as entering the top 10 selling cars in the UK at launch in 1993. Voted as car of the year by What Car? magazine in 2007 and runner-up at the European Car of the Year awards the same year, the Corsa has the awards to match its popularity.

The supermini car was first launched in 1993 and is the ideal choice for someone looking for all-round performance. The Corsa is available in a wide range of colours, with options that cater to those looking for a cheap first car or those who are in market for a feature-rich small car at fantastic value. The Corsa has gone through numerous transformations over the years and is currently in its fifth generation.

With its low running costs and affordable price tag, it comes as no surprise that this compact all-rounder has been such a success. Whether you are a new driver looking for something cheap to run as your first car or if you’re looking for a city run-around, the Corsa is an easy choice with obvious appeal. Since the launch of the 1.3 ecoFLEX back in 2010 that boasted 80mpg and CO2 below 100g/km on emissions, this little efficient motor has set the bar for affordability. That said, older models were not especially inefficient – they still delivered up to 60mpg, which is not exactly fuel guzzling. Though the smaller engine models offer little in the way of performance when it comes to motorway driving, especially for those motorists that are after a touch more power, Vauxhall offers a hot hatch model under the name of the VXR that comes equipped with a turbocharged 1.6-litre engine – an impressive engine for such a small vehicle. With the seemingly ever-increasing cost in fuel, it’s unsurprising these efficient small cars remain popular.

One of the limitations commonly associated with superminis is that there is physically less space within the chassis for a large spacious boot or to provide ample leg room for passengers. This is true of the Corsa too, although the front passenger seat does offer similar space as the driver, and while the back seats limited, they are not as cramped as you might expect. The boot makes good use of the space available and offers around 280 litres of space that can be increased to 1,000 litres when the back seats are put down.

    Corsa SE

This entry-level Corsa comes fitted with several features that are not always standard in other brands. Air conditioning, a radio/CD player/MP3 player and multifunctional trip computer and cruise control provide the driver with a comfortable and convenient driving experience. Automatic lighting control, rain-sensing wipers, electric front windows, speed sensitive power-assisted steering and electrically adjustable mirrors enhance the journey, while the driver and front passenger airbags, curtain and side impact airbags and ABS brakes, emergency brake system and daytime running lights assure the safety of the driver. Finished with body-coloured bumpers and cladding, the SE may be the entry-level Corsa, but it certainly isn’t short on features.

    Corsa Active

The Active was the entry-level trim between 2008/2009 and 2012 and was available as a 3 or 5 door with petrol or diesel engines that came in a 1.0-, 1.2- and 1.4-litre including the ecoFLEX.

    Corsa Design

The Design is a 2022 entry-level trim and brings with it several new features from previous editions. Complete with 16-inch alloy wheels and a touchscreen multimedia system. It has LED headlights that were previously reserved for the higher end trims, as well as a leather steering wheel, climate control and the new lane departure warning with lane assist.

    Corsa Energy

Launched in 2016, the Corsa Energy entered the market as a mid-range Corsa that was fitted with various luxuries as standard, including a heated leather steering wheel, IntelliLink system with 7-inch touchscreen, digital radio and Bluetooth as well as a USB connection. Electrically adjustable door mirrors and tyre pressure monitors are just some of the gear packed into this affordable car. There are three engine options and a total of ten variations of the Energy, so plenty of choice.

    Corsa Griffin

This special edition was designed to mark 25 years of Corsa production and was limited to just 2,400 units – and it’s packed with features that, for its price, leaves its competitors lagging. With more features than the Energy model at a lower price, this limited edition was a standout car on launch. Its eye-catching upgrades include the matte black 16-inch alloy wheels (17-inch, 5 twin spoke gloss black with the 2021 model), matching door mirrors and sunroof along with a smart infotainment system that has a large 7-inch display, heated front seats and heated leather steering wheel and the 1.4-litre, low-emission petrol engine.

    Corsa SRi

Another mid-range option, the CORSA SRi is fitted with 17-inch alloy wheels and sport suspension which provides a firmer, more aggressive feel. The sports styling continues through the car with sport front seats and pedals as well as tinted windows and front and rear sport body styling. A chrome-effect exhaust tailpipe completes the car’s sport aesthetic, while the rest of the features are the same as the SE.

    Corsa Elite

This mid to higher-level trim is fitted with features and equipment that you might not expect to find in a Corsa, especially as it is known for its affordable price point. That said, the 2021 Elite model comes fitted with a 7-inch infotainment system that includes DAB digital radio, Bluetooth audio streaming and mobile connectivity, Apple CarPlay/Android Auto™ as well as six speakers. The interior provides a high-quality experience for this supermini, with a flat-bottomed, leather heated steering wheel, heated front seats, rain-sensitive wipers, a 7-inch digital instrument cluster, anti-dazzle rear-view mirror and air conditioning among other things. The 17-inch diamond cut gloss black alloy wheels really give the car a stylish look; accompanied with a black roof and A pillars and high-gloss black B pillars, the curb appeal is high for this motor. Electrically adjustable, heated and folding door mirrors, rear parking sensors and a panoramic rear-view camera really places this car up among more premium cars when it comes to features.

    Corsa Elite Nav Premium

This upgraded Elite comes with a variety of additional features. The 2021 model has a larger 10-inch touchscreen as part of the Multimedia Navi Pro system that includes sat nav with 2D/3D street level mapping, points of interest and European coverage. Electric parking brakes, Vauxhall Connect and keyless entry and start finish this ‘premium’ supermini.

    Corsa Ultimate Nav

The Ultimate is 2022’s high-end trim level and comes packed with features and top-of-the-range equipment that includes the stylish 17-inch, bi-colour alloy wheels and IntelliLux LED® Matrix headlights with LED taillights – effectively adding to this model’s curb appeal. The 10-inch colour touchscreen system provides sat nav and Apple CarPlay™/Android Auto™, while a 7-inch digital instrument cluster provides the driver with all the information they require. Electric climate control and adaptive cruise control add to the driving experience of this car. Finally, the Ultimate is fitted with Alcantrara seat trim and driver seat massage functionality.

Vauxhall’s fully electric Corsa-e is also available in various trim levels

The Corsa-e has been available in several different trims, including the SE Nav Premium, SRi Nav Premium and Elite Nav Premium. They each bring all the features and comforts you would expect to find on their ICE counterparts.

    Corsa-e Nav Premium

The Nav Premium option is available with the Corsa-e, the fully electric version of the Corsa, and provides additional features and equipment a little more over the standard Corsa-e models. Whether you go for the Corsa-e SE, Corsa-e SRi or Corsa-e Elite, there is also a Nav Premium available that takes your choice of electric to the next level. Features include a front camera system that facilitates the collision alert system, lane departure warning, lane assist and speed sign recognition that enables the intelligent speed adaptation feature as well as driver drowsiness system.

The practical supermini is popular with families with their affordability making them a standout choice. Models like the powerful VXR continue to appeal to younger generations, while the ecoFLEX Corsa is a great choice if you’re looking for an economical compact car.
