  • The ID.3 is a five-door, five-seat hatchback and feels much more spacious inside than its exterior dimensions may suggest at first glance.
  • It’s built on Volkswagen’s (modular electric drive kit) which pushes the wheels to the corners of the car and places the battery low under the floor, ensuring optimal front and rear cabin space for all passengers.
  • Outside, it’s comparable in shape and size to the Golf, but inside, it feels more like a T-Cross or Passat.
  • Boot capacity with all seats in use is 385 litres; fold the rear bench down and this expands to 1,267 litres, with the rear seats folded in a 60/40 split.
  • You get three ISOFIX points: two on the outer rear seats and one in the front passenger seat – perfect for growing families.
  • The 77kWh Pro S model supports DC fast charging up to 125kW or 170kW depending on the variation. This allows for a 10% – 80% charge in around 30 minutes.
