  • The ID.5 is a five-door, five-seat coupé SUV (sometimes referred to as a fastback SUV), similar to the Audi Q4 Sportback e-Tron or the Tesla Model Y.
  • Like the ID.3 and ID.4, the model is built on Volkswagen’s dedicated EV MEB platform, which places the battery low under the floor and enhances rear cabin space.
  • Boot capacity with all seats in use is 549 litres; fold the rear bench down and this expands to 1,561 litres.
  • You get three ISOFIX points: two on the outer rear seats and one in the front passenger seat.
  • Standard ID.5 models support DC fast charging up to 135kW (175kW in newer models), allowing a 10% – 80% charge in around 28 – 30 minutes.
